Following our litter-pick  and nature walk we collected a few natural items to recreate our own nature thoughts onto a dream catcher.  Using coloured wools to weave a web, adding bits such as acorns, leaves, bark and ribbon, we retraced our journeys from outdoors.

They all looked different as there was no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answer. The activity took three weeks to complete and it was time enough to develop skills such as knotting, sequencing and reflecting learning. Everyone wrote (or drew) their reflections on the activity and named their dream catcher. Some told stories with their work and others noted personal thoughts on their reflection sheet. All took time to consider their citizenship score chart because there had been ample opportunity to develop skills of listening, cooperation, and following rules.
